Its been roughly 40 years since I began working in “Manga.”

Over the course of that time, I've learned a great many things, and encountered countless new discoveries as I've tackled manga head on.

My goal is to impart the valuable lessons I've learned to the next generation, to spread manga culture far and wide, to explore the medium's hidden potential, and to elucidate the effect it has on so many. This simple belief has remained in my heart from the very beginning.

As such, our company is going to great lengths to train manga editors, nurture manga creators from around the world, expand manga into other fields of media, and more recently, scientifically determine what makes a "truly valuable" manga in our "Manga Lab."

Manga is both a culture and form of entertainment that Japan is proud to share with the world, and my passion to expand its reach both culturally and economically will never fade.

It is for the betterment of manga, and for the worldwide spread of its culture, that we shall continue to strive with honesty, and sincerity.
